Kenney Bros. Construction Co., Inc. was founded in 1969 by two brothers, Allen and Lyle Kenney. Lyle departed in the early 1970s, but Allen and his wife, Mary, continued to run and grow the business until their retirement in 2004. At that time, the next generation took the helm: their children, Jeff Kenney and Rhonda Gifford, along with Rhonda’s husband, Jon Gifford.

Kenney Bros. Construction Co., Inc. primarily serves Boulder County. Over the years, the type of work offered has changed with the evolving needs of the community. As General Contractors from 1969 through early 2021, we built custom homes, tilt-up concrete buildings, did tenant finishes, residential and commercial remodeling, decks, stamped concrete patios, egress windows, and custom cabinetry. Since the passing of Jeff Kenney in 2021, the type of work offered has shifted to showcase Jon Gifford’s extensive knowledge, experience and craftsmanship as a master carpenter, designer, and former general contractor. Kenney Bros. Construction Co., Inc. is now focusing on clients who need residential or commercial maintenance and/or minor renovations, carpentry, drywall patching, project supervision, design and drafting services, custom cabinetry, deck repairs, or general handyman services.
